Due to COVID-19, rental space is not available at this time.
Rental Space is available at the museum. We have 2 spaces for use: Ice Cream Parlor (20-25 people), and the Prairie Coteau Meeting Room (49 People).
There are several room setups available for every meeting or event. These setups include: Board style (tables with chairs in a large rectangle), Luncheon style (tables and chairs), and Classroom style (just chairs).
We are also able to provide a variety of equipment for events including: projector, laptop, podium, extension cord, easel, portable audio system with microphone, coffee maker, table cloths, napkins, plastic ware, plates, bowls, punch bowl, and other items upon request.
Fees start at $15 per hour for business/non-profit meetings, $50 for birthday parties in the Ice Cream Parlor, and Receptions (Weddings, Graduations, and Anniversaries): $200.00 + $100.00 refundable damage deposit.
Check should be made payable to Lyon County Historical Society, and the rental fee must be paid before the event and is non-refundable. Applicants will also be asked to fill out a special events agreement form prior to the event.
The rooms are great for business meetings, clubs, birthday parties, small weddings, anniversaries, and more!
