The Lyon County Museum will reopen on Monday, January 11. The museum hours for the month of January are Monday-Friday: 11:00 AM to 7:00 and Saturdays: 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Closed on Sundays.
The tree walk will stay up through January. You can continue voting online or by mail through January 30. Boxes are next to each tree for voting in person.
The annual event is a fundraiser for the Lyon County Museum and an opportunity to highlight businesses, families, groups, non-profit organizations in the community. All donations will go to benefit the Lyon County Historical Society Museum’s mission of preserving and presenting Lyon County history. The top 3 organizations/groups/businesses with the most money donated to them will win the 2020 tree walk. They will receive $150, $100, and $50 in Marshall Chamber Dollars.
There are 3 ways to donate for the trees while the museum is closed.

Mail: Make checks payable to the Lyon County Museum and send to 301 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258. In the memo or on a note, write the group’s name of the tree you are voting for.
Drop Off: Place check or cash in an envelope and place in the book deposit drop located on the museum building. In the memo or on a note, write the group’s name of the tree you are voting for.
